NFHM is a not-for-profit organization
seeking to help faith communities effectively serve our local neighborhoods
through the creative provision of affordable housing. Our current
goal this year is to continue to build up the network among existing
faith ministries, which currently consists of 153 organizations
in 40 states.
This website has been established as a tool for faith-based affordable
housing providers to network with one another in support of the
work housing ministries and to serve as a platform in which technical
assistance can be provided to local faith-based nonprofits

NFHM believes that providing needed
affordable housing in local areas is a key component of not only neighborhood
revitalization, but it is also as an avenue for reaching out to meet the
spiritual needs of our communities. NFHM also serves faith-based ministries
by providing training and technical assistance on a variety of areas,
including housing production, property and asset management, ministry
program planning; urban and architectural design, and organizational support.
